Do you supply all the equipment and cleaning supplies?


Yes. Every new contract is issued with brand new P.A tested equipment. All materials are included within our charge and we guarantee to supply exactly what is needed when it is needed.

Do you check cleaning standards?

Yes. Our operational managers complete scheduled and adhoc checks on our cleaners. These checks are carried out both during the working day and when the cleaners are working so we can ensure standards are being maintained.

What happens if my cleaner doesn’t turn up?

It is our responsibility to get your building cleaned and we will. Our operational managers will organise an alternative remedy to clean your building.
Notification of absence by our staff is critical to our service delivery and we take it so seriously, it is written in their Terms & Conditions of Employment.

Do you screen your cleaners?


Yes, all our cleaners are interviewed and screened. Screening includes, confirmation that employees are bone-fide and that they have appropriate documentation to support their application for employment in line with Home Office and Government guidelines.
References from all potential employees are required and CRB checks are done for all educational establishments.

Do you provide free quotations?

Yes. We will visit your premises, evaluate your requirements and send you a fully costed proposal free of charge.

What areas do you cover?


Our clients cover the Yorkshire and North West regions. We service areas broadly across the M1 and M62 corridors, from York to Sheffield, Leeds to Manchester and all areas in between, such as Wakefield, Pontefract, Normanton, Barnsley, Rotherham, Huddersfield, Sale, Bolton, Bury, Middleton etc. If in doubt, just ask, the worst we can say is, "sorry no."

Can you supply items such as toilet rolls and soap?


Yes. We have a full range of janitorial and consumable products that can be delivered usually within 48 hours of ordering.

Do you train your cleaners?

Yes. All our staff are enrolled into our training programme and we will happily provide you with full details of our training programme in our quotation.

Training our staff is a crucial element of our service which is why we employ BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science) accredited Assessors in our operational management team to ensure training is completed and provided effectively.

Are you fully insured?

Yes. Active are comprehensively insured covering all aspects of our cleaning services. We supply all clients with a copy of the latest insurance policy as standard when we start cleaning for you.

Do you have other clients near us?

Yes. We have over 350 employees cleaning over 200 clients, across a tight geographical region, so it is very likely that we have other clients close to you.

Do you employ local Area Supervisors?

Yes. All our Area Supervisors who look after the cleaning live locally to the areas they cover. So whether its, Leeds, Manchester or Rotherham, we have a local manager covering your area.

Do you manage the TUPE transfer for us?

Yes. We have an extensive experience of managing the TUPE regulations and transferring staff. All you need to do is confirm when you want us to start and we will do the rest, including managing the TUPE transfers.
